Russia’s official unemployment rises 1.3% in February 3–10
MOSCOW, Feb 15 (PRIME) -- The number of officially registered unemployed people in Russia increased by 1.3% to 1,029,795 people in the period from February 3 through February 10, the Labor and Social Protection Ministry said in a statement Monday.
The amount of officially registered unemployed people increased in 77 out of 85 Russian regions, and in 61 of them unemployment grew by more than 1% in the reporting week.
The number of workers in down time, part-time workers and people on non-fully paid vacations rose 5.3% in the period to 269,257 people as of February 10, the ministry said.
